Shinedown Sound Of Madness. Strong album start to finish. The band shows great range, knocking out ballads to head-bangers and everything in between. But the coup de gras for me is their lyrics. Very strong and positive messages. Second Chance talks about cutting yourself off from your past so you can start totally fresh and create your own reality. Sound of Madness reminds me of the message in the Eagles' "Get Over It" which basically says instead of letting fear paralyze you to the point you end up hiding from life, get in the game and kick its ****.
